Deposit with PayPal

Goldmoney Personal and Business users in the UK, Europe, Canada, and the USA can use their PayPal account to make quick, secure deposits to their Goldmoney account and contribute to their gold savings. Deposits made from your PayPal account are exclusively stored in the PayPal Vault in London. You can click here for more information about the PayPal Vault and available vault functionality.

Method Supported Currencies Processing Times Additional Fees Notes
PayPal EUR, GBP, CAD, USD Immediately Deposits made in a currency other than EUR, GBP, CAD, or USD will be subject to standard PayPal FX fees. Deposits and redemptions using PayPal are restricted to the PayPal Vault. Funds may not be transferred to other vaults or loaded to your Goldmoney Mastercard.

PayPal is available for deposit and redemption in the following countries:
 

Aland Islands, Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Canada, Channel Islands, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Faroe Islands, Finland, France (including French Guiana, Martinique, Reunion and Mayotte), Georgia, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Greenland, Guadeloupe, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russian Federation, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States of America, Vatican City State.

To get started, log in to your Goldmoney Personal or Business account and select the 'Menu' icon at the top of your Dashboard.



Select 'Deposit' from the menu.


Indicate whether you would like to make a one time or recurring deposit.



Enter the amount you would like to deposit and select the PayPal deposit option. You will be alerted to important information about the PayPal vault. Click here for more information about this vault.




You will be given the option to save your login information or require a log in every time you make a deposit for authentication. We recommend saving your information for even faster deposits, as well as enabling recurring deposits. If you would like to set up a recurring deposit, simply return to the first step of the deposit process and choose the 'Recurring' option instead. Indicate your authentication preferences and click 'Process with PayPal' to proceed.




A pop up window will prompt you to authenticate your purchase. Make sure you have popups enabled on Goldmoney to ensure that this window will appear. If you selected to have your information saved, you will be asked to review and agree to a linking agreement after logging into your PayPal account. If you did not, you will simply be asked to approve the deposit.



Your deposit confirmation will be displayed on screen. If you chose to save your PayPal information, the next time you make a PayPal deposit, you will not need to log into your PayPal account.  


Once you have a balance in your PayPal Vault, you may redeem it back to PayPal or redeem physical metal to your home address. There are limitations on functionality for gold stored int he PayPal Vault. You can click here for more information about the vault.
