Purchasing gold with a credit or debit card is quick, easy, and secure! Accepted credit cards include Visa, MasterCard, and JCB. Debit card deposits are only available if your card has the Visa or MasterCard logo in the corner of your card. Some prepaid cards may not be accepted for deposit. Please note that for credit or debit card deposits made using a card denominated in a currency other than CAD, USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, AUD, CHF, CZK, ZAR, HKD, SGD, and INR, FX fees may be charged by your issuing bank.

Immediately If using a card denominated in a currency other than those listed, your debit card issuer may apply charges of up to 3% on debit card withdrawals including international processing fees. Please check with your card issuer to determine if charges apply. Check with your card provider to determine if any additional fees may apply for card purchases, particularly whether fees may apply when purchasing from a company that is not located within your home country.

Select the Deposit icon from your menu.

Select “Credit/Debit Card” from the displayed deposit options.

Choose which vault you would like to have your funds stored in.

Enter the deposit amount. The currency corresponding to the deposit amount can be adjusted from the drop down menu (arrow). A live quote will be displayed, calculated from the spot price and deposit fee. This price will be locked in for 5 minutes. Please note that card deposits are only processed in CAD, USD, or EUR, regardless of the currency selected here. The three digit CVV number can be found on the back of your credit card.

Click the ‘Process’ button when complete. You will receive a Goldmoney Personal & Business deposit receipt email and a notification confirming the transaction.
