Why is ID required for vault balances over 25 GAU?

Once your vault balance exceeds 25 GAU (gold grams), we require that you submit a copy of your government-issued photo ID. By obtaining this additional verification from you, we are able to further increase the security on your Platform by authenticating your identity and by extension, your transaction activity.
