Vault-to-vault transfers

Whether you want to hold all of your gold in one vault, many vaults, or you wish to consolidate your metal so that you can easily redeem it, the Vault-to-Vault Transfer tool allows you to move your gold between your Goldmoney Personal account vaults easily and instantly.


To get started, select the 'Vault-to-Vault Transfer' option from the 'More' menu:


Next, indicate which vault you would like to transfer your gold from, and which vault you wish to transfer it to. You can change the selected vault by clicking on the drop-down arrow:


Next, enter the amount of gold you would like to transfer. This amount cannot be less than the equivalent of 0.001 grams of gold (GAU). The default currency for transfers is GAU, but you can change the currency by selecting the drop-down arrow to the right of the current currency. 

Before you finalize the transfer, you will be able to see the amount of your transfer in gold grams, the applicable fee that will be deducted from your transfer amount, and then final amount of the transfer after the fee is applied. If the value of your fee is less than 0.001 GAU, the fee will be rounded up to 0.001 GAU:


Finally, select 'Process Vault Transfer' to initiate the transfer If you have two-factor authentication enabled, you will be prompted to enter the 7-digit code sent to your mobile phone to confirm the transfer. Your transferred gold may take 1-2 days to settle in your new vault.
