Upgrade to a Personal Verified Account

If you have reached a total vault balance of 25 GAU, or you simply want access to all that Goldmoney Personal & Business has to offer, you will need to upgrade to a Personal Verified Account! Goldmoney Personal & Business  maintains bank-grade Know Your Customer ("KYC") and Anti-Money Laundering ("AML") policies and every account holder goes through a verification process in adherence with these policies. We implement these policies not to preclude anyone from the service, but to strengthen the integrity of our company for all stakeholders! A Personal Verified Account gives you access to increased account balance limits, a dedicated Customer Success team, and the GoldMoney Prepaid MasterCard!

When you first finish signing up for a Goldmoney Personal & Business  account, you will have a Personal Basic Account. This is identified by the grey badge next to your name on your Dashboard.

Once you reach a total vault balance of 25 GAU (gold grams), you will be prompted to upgrade to a Personal Verified Account in order to be able to continue to grow your savings on Goldmoney Personal & Business. If you wish to have further access to platform functionality prior to reaching a balance of 25 GAU, you can verify your account by clicking on your name in the upper right corner of your Dashboard and selecting "Verify Account."

Whether you are prompted to or elect to upgrade, you will be asked to upload your ID.

You can submit an image of your Government-issued photo ID by browsing your files, dragging and dropping a file, or using your webcam to take a photo of your ID. Images must be PNG or JPEG files smaller than 5 MB. If you choose to use your webcam, your browser will ask your permission before opening the webcam. Once your document is submitted, you will be asked to enter your ID information.

It's as easy as that! The image of your Government-issued ID will be submitted to our Compliance Team to review.

Once your account has been approved, you will receive an email giving you the good news! You can log into your shiny new Personal Verified Account and enjoy your blue verified badge and increased access to platform features!

If your request is rejected, our team will send you a message to let you know what the problem was. Possible mistakes include:
 
  • Submitting an image that is not an accepted form of Government-issued photo ID
  • Submitting an identification document that does not contain Latin text
  • Submitting an expired identification document
  • Submitting an unclear or obscured image of your identification document
  • Submitting only part of your identification document
