Camera not available for selfie-ID

When attempting the biometric or selfie-ID verification method, and you are finding that you get the error "Camera not available", it may have to do with your device.

Here are a few steps to troubleshoot the issue.

Mac/iOS Devices:

1. Navigate to Settings

2. Click 'Privacy' then 'Camera'

Within this page, you can allow or disallow apps access to the camera.

OR 

1. Navigate to Settings

2. Click on Safari or your device's default browser

3. Under 'Privacy & Security' ensure that the 'Camera and Microphone Access' is enabled

 

If you have done both of these things, and find that you are still unable to use your device's camera, please reach out to our Relationship Management department by emailing us at support@goldmoney.com or sending us a secure message through your Holding.

 

Android Devices:

1. If you are using the Goldmoney app, exit the app and open Google Chrome.

2. Navigate to www.goldmoney.com and proceed through the application using Chrome - at the image capture stage, you will be prompted to allow access to the camera. Click "Allow".
